After twenty five years as a referee, Dermot has only just hung up his whistle as a top official. On the National for nine, he remains one of the most recognisable and respected of the men in black.
A budding footballer in his day, his love of the game brought him into refereeing and led him to officiating 14 international matches, 8 international cup finals, as well as the Under 20s World Cup final between Brazil and Argentina.
A much revered professional who is welcomed into the Masters fold for 2006.
Steve retired from the National list of referees at the end of the 2000/01 season, but his hard work on the pitch has continued for Masters ever since.
His CV is impressive. He refereed the 1997 FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Middlesbrough and the semi finals of the same competition in1996 and 1998. In 1996, he also took charge of the FA Vase Final and the semi final of the Football League Cup.
Steve has established himself as the most revered referee in Masters and is a valued member of the team.
Uriah was appointed to the Football League list of referees in 1994 and given his first Premiership appointment on 23 August 1997. In 2000, he became a FIFA referee.
In 2001, he joined the Select Group of professional referees. Keith Hackett, then head of the Professional Game Match Officials Board, described him as "the fittest referee we have ever seen on the national and world scene". At the end of the 2004-05 season he retired from the FIFA list, at the compulsory age of 45, and eventually stepped down from the Select Group of referees in May 2009 due to persistent injury.
He practices both kick-boxing and aikido, and has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Law. He is also a magistrate in Sheffield.
John has the unusual distinction of having been a Grade One referee in three of the four home international countries, England, Wales and Scotland.
He was promoted to the Senior List of Referees in 1991 and joined the Scottish Premier League referee pool in 1995. He has just completed his 16th season on the Scottish Football League and 12th season in the SPL.
John was the first Englishman to represent his adopted country on the FIFA List of Referees and has fulfilled almost 40 international appointments. He has been the elected Chairman of the Scottish Senior Football Referees' Association since its inception in 2005.
Jeff arrived as a referee in the top flight after a number of years as one of the country's top linesmen. He pent six seasons as a Football League referess's assistant, before becoming a Premiership referee in the 1996/97 season.
Previously a financial services advisor by trade, Jeff's early career highlights included taking charge of the women's FA Cup Final and being fourth official in the 1989 FA Cup Final. He was to be later chosen to referee the 2004 FA Cup Final between Man Utd and Millwall.
