Jeff
arrived as a referee in the top flight after a number
of years as one of the country's top linesmen. He
pent
six seasons as a Football League referess's assistant,
before becoming a Premiership referee in the 1996/97
season.
Previously a financial services advisor by trade,
Jeff's
early career highlights included taking charge of
the
women's FA Cup Final and being fourth official in
the
1989 FA Cup Final. He was to be later chosen to
referee
the 2004 FA Cup Final between Man Utd and Millwall.
